Kerala Migration Survey 2023 takes place through Gulati Institute of Finance and Taxation under the direction of Dr. S. Irudaya Rajan, Visiting Fellow, GIFT and Chair, IIMAD which is funded by the Government of Kerala.

Our Founder President Dr. K.C. Zachariah departed us on 17th January 2023. 

Chair is part of both Jharkhand Migration Survey 2023 (10000 households) and Odisha Migration Survey 2023 (15000 households)

The International Institute of Migration and Development(IIMAD), in collaboration with the Hungry Cities Partnership (HCP) MiFOOD Project, invites academics, researchers, activists, artists and other practitioners to submit original research, case studies, work, and other insights for presentation at the 2022 Annual IIMAD International Migration Conference. The conference will focus on the theme ‘Food (In)security and Migrants on the Move’. Presentations should fall into one of the four sub-themes, including 1) Food Security and Migration; 2) Resilient Food Systems and Rural Labour Markets; 3) Environmental Factors, Agricultural Incomes and Food Security; 4) Urban Food Governance.

The conference will take place on 27-28 October 2022
