IIMAD is pleased to announce the launch of the website for Migration and Development Journal(MAD) “Migration and Development” is available at https://journals.sagepub.com/home/mad At launch, the journal begins a free access period which ends on (06-12-2023).

Kerala Migration Survey 2023 takes place through Gulati Institute of Finance and Taxation under the direction of Dr. S. Irudaya Rajan, Visiting Fellow, GIFT and Chair, IIMAD which is funded by the Government of Kerala.

Ashish Lall has a doctorate in Economics from Carleton University in Ottawa. He spent twenty-five years in an academic career in Singapore at Nanyang Business School, Nanyang Technological University and the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore. Earlier in his career he worked at Canada Post Corporation, The Royal Commission on National Passenger Transportation, and at Abt Associates of Canada.

Ashish has published on a variety of issues and areas including child labour, education, productivity and efficiency measurement, national and regional competitiveness, competition policy, intellectual property law, technology policy and payment systems.
